Playmats: Part 1

PB: Are we going to go ahead with the playmats?

ML: I think they’d make it a lot easier for people who aren’t as familiar with games like this to sit down and play.

PB: For sure. But how do we make them?

ML: Paper?

PB: It’ll slide around. And also get dirty.

ML: What about if we laminate them?

PB: They’d still slide around.

ML: What if we laminate them and put rubber—

PB: I mean don’t people who play Magic and Pokemon and stuff get these printed somewhere?

ML: Let me google it.

PB: Anything?

ML: Ya… here’s one…well whaddaya know. You can buy one at boardgamesmaker.com…

PB: What?

ML: It’s the exact same aesthetic as makeplayingcards.com... where we get our cards printed…

PB: Makes sense I guess.

ML: Let’s look at examples.

PB: Why do you think someone would order this one with the dragon and voluptuous woman on it?

ML: Hm.

PB: Anyways. This’ll be sweet. I’ll start making one while you figure out which is cheapest.

ML: Great.

[the next day]

ML: My social media feed has been taken over by playmat ads with dragons and voluptuous women.

PB: Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

ML: …
